These are not upgrades. They are what makes it a set of books rather than a list of transactions, so they are in Free exactly as they are in Complete.
- A real double-entry ledger — chart of accounts, journal entries, debits equal credits on every posting.
- Financial statements — profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance, aging, general ledger.
- Closed-period locking — once a period is closed it stays closed, and corrections go in as new entries.
- An audit trail that records what a figure was before it changed as well as after, and who changed it.
- Passkey and multi-factor sign-in, and an installable app on your phone.
