Statements that agree with each other.

Every report comes out of the same journal, which is why your balance sheet and your profit and loss can never tell you two different things.

Reporting is in every package, including Free.

The statements

  • Profit and loss, including month by month.
  • Balance sheet, and a statement of changes in equity.
  • Cash flow, classified by nature under ASC 230 rather than approximated.
  • Trial balance and the general ledger behind it.

The working reports

  • Receivables and payables aging — who owes you, who you owe, and how late.
  • Job profitability, per job.
  • Sales tax return figures, and 1099 summary and detail.
  • Customer statements you can send as they are.
  • Roughly fifty reports in total, output to PDF or CSV.

What makes them trustworthy

  • They are derived from the journal, not assembled from subledgers that can drift apart from it.
  • Closed periods stay closed, so a report you ran in March still says in December what it said in March.
  • Every figure traces back to the entries behind it, and every entry records who posted it and when.
